Owner & Principal Broker, Legacy Real Estate Co.

Rachel Diuguid Smith, owner and principal broker of Legacy Real Estate Co., has dedicated her life to the world of real estate. Growing up with parents who were both realtors, Rachel’s passion for the industry developed early, inspiring the name “Legacy” for her business.

A graduate of Christian County High School in 2007, Rachel pursued higher education at Murray State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in real estate in 2010. That same year, she launched her career in real estate, blending her academic foundation with her lifelong love for the field.

Rachel is married to Adam Smith, a Hopkinsville native, and together they are raising two children, Adleigh and Miles. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys playing golf, traveling, cooking, and embracing the joys (and challenges) of being a busy mom, often carpooling her kids from one activity to the next.

In addition to her real estate work, Rachel actively participates in numerous organizations, including Leadership Hopkinsville, the Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary, the Rotary Club, and the Renaissance Design Review board. She also serves on the Community Development Services Commission board and the Christian County PVA Appeal board, reflecting her deep commitment to community development.

Rachel’s ability to balance a successful career, active community service, and a vibrant family life reflects her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on those around her.
